Suiban (nudibranch)

This hand-built ceramic suiban pulls its striking palette directly from the vibrant, alien world of nudibranchs. The glassy interior mirrors the brilliant contrast found in these ocean creatures—where rich cosmic teals and bubbling chartreuse clash beautifully with a bold, fiery neon orange.

Designed as a low, shallow vessel for minimalist arrangements, ikebana, or as a standalone focal piece, its low form acts like a vibrant tide pool ready to anchor structural branches and changing character with every shift of the light. Turn it over, and a dramatic glaze breaks like cracked earth, perfectly grounding the high-gloss energy inside.
